Auramist Lodge has been operating
continuously as a Dog Boarding Kennel since 1974 and holds development
approval from Port Stephens Council. |
|
|
|
We provide accommodation for dogs
in a safe and friendly environment where every want or need is willingly met.
Clean and dry individual enclosures with quality food and ample hydration. |
|
|
|
On arrival each guest is provided
with a cleaned trampoline bed together with freshly sanitised water and food
bowls. We believe in the reduction of health risks for our guests and as such
the each kennel is washed out daily with environmentally friendly hospital
grade disinfectant / cleanser. |
|
|
|
Before being introduced to their
enclosures, owners are guided through a discussion relating to the animals
specific requirements concerning health, feeding and playtime. This is most
important and forms the basis of making their stay with us as enjoyable as
possible. |
|
|
|
In accordance with the
requirements of the NSW Prevention Of Cruelty to
Animals Act, and unlike some other establishments we do not
“double-up” in animals in enclosures that are not from the same
household. Regardless, owners are asked if accommodation for animals
from the same household is to be on a separate or shared basis at the
commencement of each stay. |

We have three sizes of kennels
suited to the size of the guests: |

Single 1.5m x 4m |
|
Small Dog 1m x 3m |
|
Jumbo 3.5m x 4.5m |
|
|
|
Food
and twice daily walks are included in the Daily Rate with food coming from
the Advance range. Specific
dietary requirements are able to be accommodated and we welcome your comments accordingly. Advance is a Super Premium food with a scientific approach
to nutrition. |

We have proven over twenty years
at the one location that a contented Dog and happy owner make for a very
happy union. Proof of this lies in our return custom. |
